Gentleman Getaway

This apartment is located in the heart of the Portuguese capital. Integrated into a distinctive hotel, we were challenged to develop a project for a single client. One of our concerns was to maintain the character of the space, which initially followed the same aesthetic line as the rest of the hotel.
The renovation started in the kitchenette, the entrance area of the apartment, and included a small intervention in the bathroom. The request was to create a space that allowed for both work and comfortably hosting friends.
We opted for a masculine color palette but introduced color accents that always bring vibrancy to the space. The woodwork was kept in line with the existing style of the hotel, adding only color notes in materials like lacquered MDF.
The textures were deliberately kept sober, but always with the aim of ensuring maximum comfort. The lighting was carefully designed so that it never felt like there was only one window per room.
In this project, we were careful not to use more than what was essential. The goal was to create a practical and functional apartment-hotel, but with the personal touch of its owner.
